Florida Photography

Every Mother's Day the Jacksonville Symphony holds a concert by the beach. The weather was perfect, the evening was beautiful and I took advantage of the moment and snapped a few pictures. I hope you enjoy!

Florida Born and Raised

Florida, the Sunny State, really lives up to the name. We have about two seasons here: summer and fall. And our summer is about three-fourths of the year. I've lived in Florida all my life and people think I'm crazy when I say I've never once in my life seen snow in person. Honestly, I don't feel like I'm missing out. Snow might be great, but there's no way on earth I'd live any where without access to a beach. Here, I live fifteen minutes away from the wet, sandy, sunny sea shore. At some point or another you subject yourself to the sweltering summers and learn to love the sunshine. Some people might argue that a lot of Florida is not picturesque, and maybe that's true. I'm definitely not a professional photographer, I'm just a girl who's found a love for taking pictures. To me Florida is picture-perfect, from the beaches to the shabby down town areas. I can find a good picture almost anywhere. Now I don't live in Clear Water Florida or anything like that, but I consider myself blessed to have been born and raised here. And I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
